May Ezee Pzee Reveal!!!

Well here it is, that time again....This month I decided to share with you all a little place in Arizona. I saw pictures of my beautiful Godmother there and I just had to fly to Az. and see it for myself~Goldfield Ghost Town.
I started my project by trying to figure out the best way to recreate barn boards. Sooo... I took a picture of some, taped them to a 12x12 cardstock and had it color copied. Perfect! I cut and inked the edges for each frame. I chose my pictures to add and began to put it together. I didnt use a canvas, I used a wooden picture frame for my construction. Ive been waiting for a birdcage Ezee Pzee and have saved this picture of my Godmother whistling inside of one for this project. If you look closely at the picture of the green bordello, next to it stands this huge birdcage. I imagine my aunt enjoying it, as she was such a huge bird lover. Her picture whistling towards the sky is a perfect fit inside my Ezee Pzee :)
The birdcage and a frame were colored with gold alcohol ink and the bird I love you die cut was the perfect embellishment.  I pulled out my fancy cutting machine to make the cactus and barrel thats adhered to this scene and also to make a lantern, gold pan, and pick axe for the other frame. I took the Ezee Pzee sign and also colored it with gold alcohol ink, and inked the edges. The Ezee Pzee bird is simply inked. The 2 timepieces were alcohol inked gold before I added the chains to them. And the gold in the miners pan is glass beads~ glued.
After I got it all together I clipped on a ribbon for hanging and added a bird and birdcage metal embellishment to the clips.
***I havent yet used those butterflies..........I'll have to save them for something special to be shared later~I promise...****

My Godmother was able to share Goldfield Ghost Town with me because of a few photos. Im happy to share it with you in the same spirit......

Well, my project is finished, photographed and posted!!! Enjoy~Im going riding......

I began my project by adhering fabric to my Keepsake box and painted the edges with acrylic paint then I accessorized it with a little bling ~ Ezee Pzee!!!!! On the top piece I added a small square of quilt batting before adhering the fabric. A chunky brad in the center gives it some nice dimension. I added an Ezee Pzee heart to the inside of my box after painting it with acrylic paint.  I decided to adhere some photos of my journey across America to some inked cardstock embellished with Ezee Pzees!!! This one was simply Ezee!!!!
I used the extra Ezee Pzees and made a small layout with my daughters baptism picture~ Love it! Ezee  Pzee  this month ladies :)

March Ezee Pzee Reveal

I am so excited about this one! This project is definately one of my favorites! Ive lived here in New Brunswick for 25 years , but I was born and raised in the United States. I was feeling quite patriotic this time around and let it shine brightly! Red, White & Blue!!
When I first thought about this planter I decided instead of  a flower box I would make a wagon. And then I thought how nice it would be to make a flower cart instead :)  So I began to create!
First were those fabulous wheels! I used red glitter foam paper and stuck it to thick white chipboard circles, added acrylic painted chipboard cogs to the next layer, then a blue felt accent topped with a cardstock star. I added glitter glue and acrylic paint accents and set them to dry.
Next I used my new embossing machine and embossed all of my Ezee Pzee Embellishments! I love it LOL
Then I was ready for paint! I painted, glittered, and constructed the box and added my Ezee Pzee ~Katie~ to the front along with an Ezee Pzee heart and a chipboard star.  With the box complete, I added my wheels.  So far Im liking it alot :)
Flowers.... Already embossed, I painted and glittered and set them aside to dry. when dry~ I again painted and glittered the backside and set aside to dry again.  ***One of my Ezee Pzee flowers was too big to put in the cart so I glued it on the backside of the cart****
Stars....I glittered the stars and set them aside to dry.
Next was the umbrella~ How to make an umbrella..... I thought maybe tissue paper and pipe cleaners...... I went to the dollar store for tissue paper and instead I bought a cheap striped full sized umbrella. What else would one use to make an umbrella but an umbrella LOL I cut one panel off of the umbrella and glued it and pipe cleaners between 2 glittered chipboard stars. I shaped and cut it and secured the end of each pipe cleaner with the plastic tips off of the umbrella I just cut up. Then I cut a hole in the top and secured it to a paintbrush handle. I added ribbon and a chipboard flower sticker to complete it.
The arms of the handles were cut and painted from thin chipboard and the bar is a straw. I took a piece of black paper put it through my sticker maker and rolled it around the straw.  I attached the straw to the arms and filled each end with glue. Then I put a little blue brad at the end of each side to secure it all together.  And then I glued it to the box.
Its almost finished and I am smiling so BIG!!! Next I took some silver wire and wrapped it around the end of my paintbrush to make it look springgy! I glued the wire between some chipboard stars and between the one Ezee Pzee flower with no leaves or stem and a little star .
I put a piece of styrofoam in the box , stuck in my umbrella, flowers and stars and added paper Easter grass.
An American flower cart made with much love by Katie.....

Ezee Pzee Birdhouse Build

This has been an awesome project. I just love our feathered friends! I recently brought home a new bird and named him Ezee Pzee, so this house was definately made in honor of him :) I went to my favorite scrappy place, APOS, and immmediately fell in love with this funky green and brown paper. I bought some acrylic paint to match and began creating!
When I first looked at my birdhouse and all of the Ezee Pzees that I had,  I thought that if I used them all in this one project it would be just too busy. And then I thought again........ I just needed.....a little more.......
This is what I came up with~
I gave our Scrappy friend Alissa at APOS a sneak peek a few days ago LOL and of course I couldnt leave it at that and be done with it. I had to keep on keeping on..... and of course, I Love it! I Love Ezee Pzee! I cant wait for the next project!   Keep watching, I'll keep on creating :)

SO NOW on to the Reveal~
I sat and tried to think of how I could possibly use the piece of slate and it made me think of the mountains. I enjoyed some time in the mountains of Montana and Wyoming last summer. So with that in mind I made my cover.  I also was having different thoughts about how to use the Itzee Ezee Pzee snowflake, so I "stayed in the mountains" for my first page.  It was an amazing experience to throw snowballs after the previous 105 degree day. I added a larger Ezee Pzee snowflake to compliment the Itzee one.

The next page is  my husband and I. I used the paper from a clock class I took that was taught by one of my fellow Ezee Pzee Dezign Team members. The Itzee Ezee Pzee flowers are the perfect embellishment for this beautiful paper.

  Then there are my children....
Richies page is next~ I used a lot of different Ezee Pzees on this one~I added an apple and a larger leaf from the Alissa's apples collection to the Itzee tree for a nice effect. and I was able to salvage the partially chewed feather (OH THAT DOG!) behind the Ezee Pzee wooden "feather". I honestly didnt know it was wheat....see the creative changes that can be made with these Ezee Pzee creations lol
Then theres my son Stevie and his girlfriend Courtney~ I love the colors on these pages and the Ezee Pzee photo corners on this page are so nice I wished I had more of them lol The tags and buttons were a fun addition to my Ezee Pzee embellishments~
My son William and his girlfriend Christina shine on my next page~
These Ezee Pzee swirls are my favorite...they add such beauty to my album..... And I cant forget to mention how much  these 2 girls have added to my family...
  We love them dearly...
Then theres MY girl Faith! She is my little love! I used Ezee Pzee leaves to go with my daughters smile in the pile of leaves that we raked up at my mother in laws house. Love her sooo much!
And I just couldnt finish my album without one more picture of my foolish husband playing with me and my camera in my very orange room. I added Ezee Pzee accents to this one. They are the little pieces that have been popped out of the Ezee Pzee shapes previously and saved for another day.... I Love him too.....
These last 2 pages are the inside covers of the book. I used more of my clock class pieces for this~

Then after looking at my creation I scooped it up and went down to Tim Horton's for an XL Earl Grey tea~Thanks Kathy, you are absolutely the Best!!!

Dezign Team Project Reveal!!!!

******First Id like to say that Im the type of crafter that likes what she likes and goes to the beat of that drum. I cannot tell you which company makes the paper that I use or whose name is on my inking sponges. So with that in mind the only name dropping in my blog will be that of Ezee Pzee ~OF COURSE~and my favorite scrapbooking stop APOS. *****

  So lets begin my journey:
I opened my box and was so excited with everything that I found! The first thing I did~after my picture with "the box" was to light the apple scented candle in my orange room and was inspired by apples. So I started with my apple project. I began with a glass vase. I painted the Ezee Pzee apples with acrylic paint and used my favorite markers and glitter glue to finish the detail. I didnt use the basket and saved the tree from this collection for a different project. I added a picture of my daughter playing in the farm room at Kid City in Middletown Connecticut. The perfect apple picture :) I backed the picture and my Ezee Pzee's with red cardstock and stuck them on the back of the vase with adhesive. I also adhered 2 apples to the front of the vase. Then I took a beaded red Christmas garland and an apple bouquet from the dollar store to fill the vase. As a last touch I added a little red glitter glue to the rim of my project for a little extra sparkle <3
Then I began work on my birch bark basket. I took a piece of birch bark and cut it to the size that I wanted for my basket. I wrapped around a pillar candle to shape it. I used weldbond glue and clamped it overnight to dry with clips. I did the same for the lid of the basket. Then I cut the bottom and top of the lid to size from the birch and glued them together. I used a book for weight and let it dry overnight as well. I cut a piece of leather the same size to line the bottom of the basket when its finished. In the morning I soaked sweetgrass that I had picked a couple of years ago in my tub to make it pliable and easy to work with. Once it was wet and smelling sooo good I tied it with red string and adhered it to the top and bottom of my basket. Then I adhered a small strip of leather to the top and a little wider one around the middle. Then I adhered my leather maple leaf Ezee Pzee to the center of the basket. Its sooo beautiful!
Next is my first canvas!!!! I LOVE this one!!!!! My Tree!!! I used acrylic paint, brown and black, and painted it to make my canvas look like a tree trunk. Then I added pictures of my family backed with cardstock, the Ezee Pzee tree from the apple collection~which I colored with my favorite markers, Ezee Pzee leaves~both chipboard and leather~, some rubbery leaf stickers, and a couple of vellum stickers too. Last I added diecuts I made with my cricut machine. This one is hanging in my orange room!\
Next was a 12x12 layout. I used corkboard as a background on this one to match the Ezee Pzee Dezign Team badge in the box. I decided it would be a good idea to share some of the Ezee Pzee projects that I had already completed on this layout. Not forgetting to ink all my edges, I backed some of my pics with cardstock and some with leather.
This next one is a canvas. I apologize, I forgot to take pics along the way on this one. I painted the canvas with shiny acrylic paint and also painted my Ezee Pzees at the same time. I also used my favorite markers and glitter glue to decorate them. On the Radio Flyer wagon I used google images and printed a picture to cut the logo off of it and adhere it to my Ezee Pzee. Its too cute!  I included the Ezee Pzee gift box from a different collection and a little doll that I got at the DS for a $. I added a picture of my daughter sleeping in her castle bed, and backed it with cardstock after inking the edges. I added a few stickers and voila~ Dreaming a Christmas Dream was complete!
Next was my refigerator magnets. I had been making sooo many Christmas cards that I was wanting something different. So I decorated 2 Ezee Pzees with acrylic paint, my favorite markers and glitter glue. I adhered magnets to the back and stuck them on the fridge!
Now I have two 12x12 layouts left to share!!! I split the movie collection into 2 projects~
The first, I drew a filmstrip on my 12x12 cardstock. painted my Ezee Pzees, with metallic black acrylic paint and added photos and stickers! I inked the edges of my page and Love it!!!!
My last project includes my Grandson Jaxson. On Wednesdays he comes to my house and always enjoys popcorn and movies! I cut the popcorn box that was in "the box" and backed my pic with cardstock. I painted the popcorn with acrylic paint, and the same with the little Ezee Pzee popcorn box. I added my photo and stickers!!!
I had so much fun creating these projects and using my Ezee Pzee's in some new ways. I just cant wait till the next one and my next big Reveal!!!! See you all soon!!!!

My Ezee Pzee Story

My Ezee Pzee story starts at A Pile of Scrap :)  As all good stories should LOL~
First I should explain that my sister in law Tuffy passed away this past May. She was The Absolute Ultimate Scrapbooker! And was the owner of ALL of the scrappy products at the recent yard sale at APOS. The yard sale was a huge success! All funds raised went into an account for Tuffy's Grandson. However, there were enough leftover items after the yard sale was over to fill my Subaru to capacity! I took what was left home, inherited what I liked and shared the rest with family and friends.
A few days after the yard sale I went into APOS, and Alissa says, "Katie, Ive got something for you!".  I told her "yeah, I NEED more scrapbooking supplies" LOL! Look she says! In her hand was a chipboard laser die cut. It was an Ezee Pzee motorcycle! I fell in love! I bought it, brought it home and that same day saw on APOS's Facebook page that they were having an Ezee Pzee contest. The winner would receive $25 dollars worth of Ezee Pzees. I went straight to work! I loved the beauty of my Ezee Pzee motorcycle so much I just couldnt bring myself to decorate it (too much). Ezee Pzee naturally....... I made my layout and LOVED it!!! I entered APOS's contest and won! hahahahahahahaha I was the only one that entered. hahahahahahahaha I went to our favorite scrappy place to pick up my prize~3 new Ezee Pzee's!!! Im a happy girl! Ezee Pzee, Ezee Pzee, Ezee Pzee...... It was often on my tongue. hahaha My mother in law said to my husband at one point "Thats all we've heard all week is Ezee Pzee". hahahaha
Well, then Ezee Pzee announced their own contest on Facebook. The prize was AMAZING!!! I said "I have to win!" So I went straight to work! I became an Ezee Pzee fool! I entered my Motorcycle layout, made 3 more layouts from my winnings at APOS, and I bought 2 more collections after that! I submitted the 6 entries, crossed my fingers and waited! I screamed to my family as I read the news on Facebook. I won! I was so happy!!!! Kathy, Ezee Pzee's mom, and I went straight to work on my collection!
The Katie Paul Collection is based on my favorite place in the world. A little 1895 farmhouse in South Dakota. The collection includes the farmhouse, an outhouse, an oil lamp, a bucket, and a washtub.  I also received a personalized scrapbooking bag. This prize was an absolute treasure!
And now here I am, a part of a team of artists, ready to begin a creative journey together. The Ezee Pzee Dezign Team!!!

Welcome to my new Blog!!!!

Well, I think I have finally accomplished making this blog. I think LOL! Please bear with me as I am totally new to this so it will be, maybe,  simple at first until I figure this all out. But Im getting there! Im here!
I am the last of the Ezee Pzee dezign team to create a blog so Im a bit behind, but Im here!  And Im creating all the time so watch out for me, Im learning, and quickly LOL Here I come!!!!!
